the original idea for mdesign came to me winter of 2023: To create a multidisciplinary design consultancy in the university setting.
Mm goal was to provide opportunities for design students at umich as well as offer free design work for anyone in need.
i started by creating the basic structure and defining the functions of the organization. i knew we’d encounter challenges along the way, so I built everything around the concept of being open to change.
My goal was to find people better than me - experts dedicated to the mission, even if it meant critiquing my ideas.
under my leadership, mdesign thrived and grew beyond what i had thought possible, becoming one of the most highly regarded student organizations at stamps. below are a few milestones from our first year that i'm proud of:
